cheques:- alex ash does accept australian cheques however at this time no international cheques can be accepted.
postage and handling
when an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this web site. risk of loss for items purchased from this web site pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier, you are responsible for filing any claims with carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.

all postage costs are based on current australia post charges plus a small postage and handling fee. all parcels are sent registered post or express post to ensure orders can be tracked and arrive safely at the specified delivery address.

how the order process works
once you place an order by adding items to the shopping cart, and then following the simple instructions you will proceed through to 'checkout'.
after you have supplied us with your details such as name and address you will then nominate the method of payment you would like to use.
if you are paying by credit card, you will be directed to the secure e-gateway system to accept your credit card details. after you tell us who you are and supply your payment details using the secure e-gateway site, your order will be processed. once your payment details have been accepted and confirmed your order will be posted to you.
if you are paying by cheque or direct deposit into our account, your order will be posted once payment has been cleared by the bank.
returns & exchanges
alex ash will gladly refund or exchange if you return your unused item/s in original condition within 14 days of the invoice date.
refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for the price paid. please ensure that we will need purchase details for verification.
as postage and delivery is a cost to us, we regret that they cannot be refunded. return postage is the responsibility of the sender. please be sure to pack your items carefully for shipment, as we are not responsible for any merchandise damaged or lost en route. freight cost will be charged on exchanges, unless a returned item is faulty.
