what is alex ash?
alex ash was created because founding principal, alex ashdown found it difficult to buy beautiful, good quality hair accessories such as barrettes and ponytail holders for herself. the concept was to develop a distinct line of fashionable, but not "trendy" hair accessories, combining style with utility. by designing styles that will be as relevant tomorrow as they are today, alex ash is keen to establish itself as a modern classic.
since launching in 2006 the alex ash collection has expanded to include fashion jewellery including cuff bracelets, earrings and rings and has been featured in fashion magazines such as madison, shop til you drop, cleo and shop 4 kids. the alex ash range is currently stocked in a number of australia and new zealand's premier lifestyle boutiques enjoying continued success and loyal customers. each collection is made using quality materials and has been created with timeless appeal. alex ash draws inspiration from classic design, art, travel, diversity of cultures and friends.
